Spice Girls are the biggest girl group in pop music in the world ever! And they are from United Kingdom. Spice Girls were formed in 1994 with 5 girls. Melanie Janine Brown – Scary Spice (b.1975 in Leeds, UK), Melanie Jayne Chisholm – Sporty Spice (b.1974 in Liverpool, UK), Victoria Caroline Beckham – Posh Spice (b.1974 in Harlow, UK), Geraldine (Geri) Estelle Halliwell (b.1972 in Watford, UK) – Ginger Spice and Emma Lee Bunton – Baby Spice (b.1976 in Fincley, UK).
They have released 3 studioalbums, (Spice (1996), Spiceworld (1997) and Forever (2000)) and 1 compilation album (Greatest Hits, (2007)). They have a lot of hit singles around the world. Hit singles includes for example songs like Wannabe, Say you’ll be there, Spice Up your life, Viva Forever and Goodbye. They have sold over 100 million records worldwide.
They have very famous slogan called Girl Power!. They have made their very own movie called Spice World (1997). And they caused Spicemania in the whole world back in the 90’s! They toured around the world. Accosionally they does reunite and do things together. And they all have or at least tried solo careers. They are still power houses of entertainment business! Their spirit, legacy and music lives on forever!
